Who in the world are you people?

We are, in alphabetical order: Janaki d/o. Samikannu, Png Boon Pang Gabriel, Tan Danlin Crystal and Yan Peishan Jocelyn.

Yeah, okay. So what's up with this website anyway?

This is a website which we set up as part of our English language module, EL3267B (Language Planning and Policy).

Oh. So there's no real passion for the language, no desire to promote Tamil as a language superior to all others? Not even a slight militant edge to it?

Well, out of the four of us, only Janaki really speaks Tamil. However, we do believe that Tamil should be preserved and promoted, along with all the many languages in this world! :)

Rigggght. So, how about some additional information on you guys? Anything scandalous?

Err, no. Well, Crystal majors in Social Work and Mathematics while Janaki, Gabriel and Jocelyn are wacky enough to actually major in English. :)

Nothing else?

Well, we are currently second year students at the National University of Singapore. We like to "spend our time staring into space, contemplating the quirky and celebrating weekends" (Jocelyn, 2001).
